Flash Free Macromedia Player Ware

XP Home SP3, patched to date.
Default browser Firefox 3.6
IE 6 only ever used for updates.
Same symptoms as others in this thread.
Flash cookies had been getting deleted like clockwork until the most recent Flash plugin for Firefox update - Shockwave Flash 10.0.45.2 - which I downloaded 15 Feb last via the Adobe site and installed manually as per usual.
Expected: A Flash, or adobe flash, item in the CCleaner applications list
All settings for regularly visited flash site deleted after each manual running of CCleaner from the context menu item.
Actual results: No Flash or adobe flash item in the CCleaner applications list
No settings for regularly visited flash site deleted after each manual running of CCleaner from the context menu item.
Exploring the hard drive finds that none of the items in %appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player that are normally removed by CCleaner are being removed when CCleaner is run.
Further results: Uninstall/reinstall CCleaner - no change
Reboot system - no change
Added the flash cookie folders - %appData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects and %appData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys
to the CCleaner Options|Include list - and this will be fine for managing their deletion.
Happy to add any other details if this is a bug chase. Your app is my most relied-on admin tool and has been for some years.
Where to download free flash games
There are several websites online which allow you to download and play free flash games, and if you haven’t checked any them out lately, you’re missing out. There are many different games out there to suit the tastes of anyone, and best of all most of them are absolutely free. They are safe and fun to play, too.
Don’t worry about there being a hook, either. Well, there is a slight hook. As anyone who is familiar with the Internet knows, fun content drives people to websites, so the incentive for companies to provide these online games is to drive traffic to their websites. If you aren’t interested in buying anything and only want to play, that’s okay too. There won’t be any cookies or spy ware installed on your computer, either, so you needn’t stress about that. If you choose not to buy the products offered or look at any of the sponsor’s material, the games are still free for you to use.
So what types of fun applications are out there? A lot of them are adult themed, and use flash to make them interactive for the user. If you are into a more clean type of fun, there are some available on sites such as Yahoo that allow you to play sports or card games, for example. And of course there are the ever present poker web sites online that offer flash versions of the popular Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha, for example. You can play on these sites for fun or money, and most just involve a small download.
Among the different flash applications available to experience online are 3D ones, adult and sex types, Hentai adult themed ones, and flash applications based on adult videos, Japanese anime, and a number of other different themes. Some applications are serialized, so if you find a particular one you enjoy, you can find others of the same type and collect them all. With the amount of free adult material on the web decreasing each year, and more adult sites requiring a “pay only” format, it’s nice to know there is still some free adult material out there to sample in the form of flash games.
There is such a variety of free flash games available online you’ll find yourself clicking away at them and trying different ones out for hours on end. Each application or link leads to another listing where there are others, so the number you might play in a session is potentially large. Developers seem to come up with new applications daily, so you won’t get bored, and can always find some new ones. Check them out for yourself — there’s lots of fun and entertainment to enjoy.
